The Greek Ministry of Culture will open 114 archaeological sites, museums, and monuments for free under the August full moon, from August 8 to 13, 2025.

Coordinated by the General Directorate of Antiquities and Cultural Heritage, the initiative includes 71 sites hosting cultural events like theatrical performances, music and dance shows, stargazing, myth-telling, and guided tours, while 44 sites offer moonlit visits.

Organized with local authorities and cultural groups, these events provide a magical way to explore Greece’s heritage. The full program is available on the Ministry of Culture’s website.
